just let go from 1099 employer but was a W-2 employee for 5 years prior to that?

Can I collect unemployment if I was layed off from a 1099 employer after 9 months but prior to that was prior to that was a W-2 employee for 5 years?

They generally consider 4 of the last five quarters of your employment to assess eligibility and 9 months of your employment has been under 1099.
Please call the customer service of the labor dept in TX for eligibility info.
