I was working +40 hrs/week on NC from May 1 to December 21, 2012.  I do not claim any unemployment benefits. I live from my saving for more than 6 months and recently (July 21, 2013) get a job at MA.

Can I claim today the unemployment benefits at NC from December 21, 2012 to July 21, 2013 period of time ?

You must have filed for benefits during the time of unemployment. Now that you have a job in hand, basic eligibility becomes a question.

Please contact the DES customer service on the phone number below to check if there are any provisions.
