You will have to consult with the re-employment office in your state and the unemployment office. There are approved programs - Trade Adjustment and WIA (workforce investment act). These may reduce the job search requirements while in school. Otherwise you must be available and actively seek work. If you do not get into an approved program for whatever reason, think carefully about the job search requirements and your school requirements - if you can realistically do both then you can. Maybe you consider going part time to school in order to meet both requirements. Read carefully and ask questions of the school, the unemployment office and the re-employment office.
